I loved the retreat. It helps so much to see and do and ask questions. The people that it brought in were like-minded and fun.

Retreat Instructors

Angie

Angie

I am thrilled for the chance to get to meet, teach, and interact with you at this retreat! I’ll be alongside you every step of the way, teaching, answering questions, making new friends, and keeping everything running so you have the best experience possible!
Mellonee

Mellonee

Mellonee has been my partner in food crime for many years now as we have both been digging through all the nutrition chaos to find the truth. Now she is a great resource for me and for you in SDE. You have probably seen her great recipes and advice in our blog. She is the amazing mother of five and one who isn’t afraid to try, tweak, and continually experiment in the kitchen. She is an expert at cooking for great big family parties and making “more-healthy” food that still pleases extended family members who aren’t exactly on the SDE bandwagon.
Anna

Anna

One of the amazing teachers coming to the retreat is our yoga instructor, Anna Molgard. Anna is a wife and the mother of three. She is also an amazing musician, composer, and poetess. Anna trained at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica and is accredited with IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapy). Having studied yoga to address her own health concerns, she has particular interest in the therapeutic benefits of yoga and helping people one on one to find healing. In addition to our group yoga and meditation classes, Anna will be available for private sessions for those who would like individualized therapy for personal health challenges, pain, or deep relaxation. I can guarantee that Anna’s contribution is one of the things that will make this retreat life-changing for you. In addition to her extensive yoga training, Anna brings a calm influence and an insightfulness to our retreat that is indispensable. At our last retreat Anna got overrun with people asking for personal sessions. Once you meet her you will see why. Her deep, intuitive healing gifts will bless your life.
Karen

Karen

Karen has a dual passion for healthy food and healthy babies! She worked for years as a labor and delivery nurse, and now teaches and supports moms-to-be through her hypnobirthing classes, foot zoning, and as a naturopathic nutritionist. She is the mom of four and devoted grandmother of two. You will love getting to enjoy Karen’s vast depth of experience at our retreat. She will also be available for individual nutrition consultations, where she will review any medical conditions and lab results and help you customize your eating to maximize your health!
Sylvia

Sylvia

Sylvia is the mother of five and grandmother to 17 adorable grandchildren who call her among other things, “The Witch Doctor”. She began creating recipes at the age of eight and has won a National title as well as several state and local cooking competitions. She has trained in herbs, essential oils, energy healing and Lacto-fermentation. She loves to learn and teach so we can all find ways to nourish our bodies as well as our souls.
